It's time!  I know you've been studying, so come ready to meet new quizzers from the district, compete, have fun, and maybe learn a little something.  Join us at Topeka 1st Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, September 13th at 9:00am.  We have 3 divisions - Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice - AND we are allowing one "Old Timer" on each team.  So, bring your youth pastors, your sponsors, your parents, or your former quizzers and have them help you out.  Study up and I'll see you on September 13th!

Fun Quiz!

Posted 07 Sep, 2013 12:06 PM by Debbie

It's time!  Next week is our first Teen Bible quiz of the season.  It will take place at Victory Hills Church of the Nazarene next Saturday, September 14th, at 9:00am.  Let's get this quiz season off to an exciting start!

Since this is the Fun quiz, I would like to try something a little different.  I have setup 3 divisions of quizzing for just this quiz.  We will have:
1) Novice division - This division is only for quizzers that are in their first year of quizzing.
2) JV division - This division is for those teams that are not rookies, but are not yet ready for top 20 level competition.
3) Varsity division -  This division is for experienced teams.  Any top 20 quizzers should be in this division.
It's OK if you only have 1-2 quizzers in a division.  I will combine teams as possible to make sure everyone is on a 3+ person team.  If either the Varsity or JV division is too small to do a round-robin, I will combine them, but will weight their schedule toward teams in their original division. We will only try this for the first quiz since it won't effect our end of year standings.  I hope this helps get everyone some great competition early in the year.
